ZEISS REACH CFX 1, M3 XXT extensions have been specially developed for the ZEISS VAST XXT measuring head. The extensions consist of carbon fibre tubes that are wound exclusively for ZEISS. At five millimetres, their diameter is larger than that of conventional M3 variants. This improves the contact surface and enables the extremely lightweight, rigid construction. This supports the functionality of the measuring head - in terms of the highest possible accuracy.

The ZEISS VAST XXT probe head is a multi-talent: It combines the turn/swivel device with scanning capability. Compared to touch trigger sensors, it not only offers increased measuring accuracy and operational reliability, but also scans the measuring element to make detailed statements about its shape. The extremely light, bending- and torsion-resistant ZEISS REACH CFX 1, M3 XXT extensions also meet the demand for maximum accuracy.
New name - same performance
ZEISS has completely converted all M3 XXT extensions to carbon fiber extensions, as metal does not meet the requirements for measuring accuracy. ZEISS ThermoFit M3 XXT extensions will be offered under the name ZEISS REACH CFX 1, M3 XXT. You will receive the usual high quality and performance under the new name.
