ZEISS REACH CFX 1, M3 XXT extensions have been specially developed for the ZEISS VAST XXT measuring head. The extensions consist of carbon fibre tubes that are wound exclusively for ZEISS. At five millimetres, their diameter is larger than that of conventional M3 variants. This improves the contact surface and enables the extremely lightweight, rigid construction. This supports the functionality of the measuring head - in terms of the highest possible accuracy.

The ZEISS VAST XXT probe head is a multi-talent: It combines the turn/swivel device with scanning capability. Compared to touch trigger sensors, it not only offers increased measuring accuracy and operational reliability, but also scans the measuring element to make detailed statements about its shape.
